Course Description
Teaching Esthetics: Educational Psychology, Methods & Practical-Floor Management is a 3-hour continuing education course designed for esthetics educators. The course focuses on adult learning, lesson planning, educational psychology, skin-care instruction, demonstration methods, practical-floor supervision, sanitation education, device-safety instruction, student assessment, feedback, classroom management, professional boundaries, and documentation. The goal is to help esthetics teachers deliver safer, more organized, effective, and measurable instruction in both theory and practical settings.

Course Outline
Module 1. Module 1 — Educational Psychology & Esthetics Instruction
Adult learners, motivation and engagement, measurable objectives, lesson planning, and methods for theory versus practical instruction. Target: 60 minutes.
Module 2. Module 2 — Practical-Floor Management, Safety & Student Supervision
Practical-floor expectations, supervising esthetic services, teaching contraindications, and device, sanitation and product safety instruction. Target: 60 minutes.
Module 3. Module 3 — Assessment, Feedback & Educator Professionalism
Assessment design, practical rubrics, constructive feedback, ethics, boundaries and educational documentation. Target: 60 minutes.

Completion Requirements
- Complete all 15 required lessons in sequence, submit all required knowledge checks, pass the 20-question final examination with a score of 80% or higher, and submit the program and instructor evaluation. Illinois CE credit and an official Certificate of Attendance are issued only after Illinois CE Sponsor approval.
Examination: 20 multiple-choice questions · 80% to pass · up to 3 attempts. Students who do not reach 80% should review the course materials before retaking the examination.
