  4. Module 4. Module 4: Client Protection During Salon Services

    Protecting clients from burns, chemical exposure, and ergonomic strain during hair, nail, and skin services.

  5. Module 5. Module 5: Cross-Contamination & Safe Work Practices

    Understanding how contamination moves through the salon and using clean, disinfected, and single-use items correctly.

  6. Module 6. Module 6: Emergencies, Professional Judgment & Teaching Safety

    Responding to unexpected outcomes, using professional judgment, and modeling safe practices for students and colleagues.

Completion Requirements

  • Complete all 18 sequential lessons with at least 60% of the target engagement time, submit all required knowledge checks, pass the 20-question final examination with 80% or higher, and submit the course evaluation.

Examination: 20 multiple-choice questions · 80% to pass · up to 3 attempts. Students may attempt the examination up to 3 times. A waiting period of 1 hour is required between attempts. The highest passing score is recorded.
